Inventory Specialist

My Warehouse is the logistics heart of My Jewellery, one of the fastest-growing e-commerce companies in the Netherlands. From our modern warehouse, we make sure that thousands of customers in the Netherlands and abroad receive their orders on time every day.

We are looking for an accurate and enthusiastic Inventory Specialist to join our team and help us further optimize our logistics processes.

What will you be doing?

As an Inventory Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring that our warehouse inventory is managed accurately and efficiently. Whenever you identify inventory discrepancies, you take immediate action to investigate and correct them. This includes carrying out cycle counts and adjusting inventory levels in our warehouse management system, Reflex.

This is a hands-on operational role, which means that administrative tasks are also carried out directly on the warehouse floor. You will work closely with your fellow Inventory Specialists, colleagues within the warehouse operation, the Logistics Team Lead, and the Inventory Controller. Together, you make sure our inventory is always accurate and well organized.

We work in a two-shift system. The shifts are from 06:00 to 15:00 and from 15:00 to 00:00, alternating on a weekly basis.

Your tasks

• Proactively and reactively checking different inventory locations for missing items and stock discrepancies, while continuously identifying opportunities for improvement;

• Regularly performing cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy;

• Carrying out administrative inventory corrections and other inventory-related tasks in Reflex;

• Identifying bottlenecks and actively contributing ideas to improve inventory management and our logistics processes.

• Accurate and solution-oriented; two qualities that describe you perfectly;

• You have at least an MBO-level education, preferably in logistics or a related field;

• You have some experience in inventory management or a similar role within a warehouse environment;

• You enjoy being present on the warehouse floor and taking a hands-on approach;

• You are flexible and comfortable working in shifts and in a dynamic environment.
